Frequently Asked Questions

Each session is a spacious, supportive environment to slow down, turn inward, and reconnect with what’s really going on beneath the surface. Whether you’re navigating emotional overwhelm, challenges with food and body image, parenting stress, or a deeper call to live in alignment with yourself, the session meets you where you are.
Using the practical tools of Self Enquiry, Self Recognition, and Self Regulation, you'll be gently guided to:
Identify and question unconscious beliefs and patterns that may be fuelling inner conflict or reactivity—without trying to force change or replace them with ‘positive thinking’.
Recognise who you are beyond thoughts, feelings, and roles, through a guided, embodied practice that reconnects you to the peace, clarity, and steadiness that are already here.
Move out of survival mode (fight, flight, freeze) by learning how to regulate your nervous system and meet challenging emotions and sensations without being overwhelmed.
Over time, this work supports you in responding to life from a deeper, steadier place—and naturally aligning with your own sense of truth, purpose, and ease.
You’ll also receive practical tools and action steps to support you between sessions, with the option for voice/text support if you’d like extra guidance as things unfold.
Eating Disorder Recovery Coaching
-
No — coaching doesn’t replace clinical or medical care. I don’t diagnose, treat, or create meal plans. Psychologists and dietitians offer essential forms of support, especially when it comes to medical stabilisation and structured treatment.
My role is different. I walk alongside you as a mentor, guide and mirror — someone who’s been where you are. I offer a collaborative space to explore what’s going on beneath the surface, with curiosity, honesty, and deep listening. Together, we build the skills of Self Recognition, Self Enquiry, and Self Regulation, so you can relate to your inner world, and the external world, in a completely new way.
Many clients find this work complements clinical support by addressing deeper patterns and beliefs that often go untouched. Others come to me once they’re medically stable and ready to move beyond managing symptoms. Either way, our focus is on cultivating inner resilience and allowing true transformation to unfold — naturally and sustainably.
-
Not at all. You don’t need a diagnosis — and you don’t need to know exactly what you're struggling with.
If you feel stuck in patterns around food, body image, emotional reactivity, perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-sabotage, or addiction, you’re not alone. I support people who sense there’s another way beyond the coping mechanisms they’ve been relying on.
You might have an underlying feeling of unease, a sense that something deeper is calling for attention, or a feeling that life just isn’t quite aligned. This work meets you there. It’s for anyone ready to explore their inner world and reconnect with their authentic self.
-
Rather than centering our work on food, weight, or meal plans, we explore the underlying triggers, emotional patterns, and beliefs that often drive eating disorder behaviours.
This might look like unpacking everyday triggers that bring up shame, comparison, control, fear, overwhelm, or a sense of not being ‘good enough’— and learning how to meet those experiences with presence, curiosity and attuned questioning.
As we explore and unravel these deeper patterns, while cultivating greater safety and awareness in your body through embodied practices, your relationship with food and your body can begin to shift — gently and naturally — without focusing directly on food itself.
-
Recovery takes as long as it takes — healing isn’t linear and is different for everyone. There’s no right way or set timeline.
This work isn’t about fixing yourself or reaching a perfect “recovered” state —it’s about meeting yourself more fully, growing your capacity to be with uncomfortable feelings, and building trust in your own inner knowing.
From there, change unfolds naturally and may look different moment-to-moment.
-
I know how it feels to search for support that truly meets you — it was a big part of my own journey, and it’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about offering this kind of space.
Maybe therapy has felt too clinical, or you’ve felt dismissed, misunderstood, or like something deeper is being missed. That’s often where my work fits in.
I offer a space where those reactions — the resistance, fear, confusion, or even burnout from “trying to get better” — are welcomed, explored, and understood. This isn’t about fixing you, but meeting you exactly where you are and supporting you in becoming more internally resourced.
Some clients come here after other forms of support haven’t quite landed. Others work with me alongside a broader team, using our sessions to ground, reflect, and reconnect with their own clarity.
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. I’m here to support you in discovering what resonates most with where you are — right now.
Self Awareness Coaching
-
Yes—Self Enquiry, Self Recognition and Self Regulation practices can support transformation in every area of life. Clients may be navigating overwhelm, anxiety, disconnection, addictions, relationship conflict, change, grief, fear, people-pleasing tendencies, or simply don’t feel at ease within themselves.
This work supports anyone who desires to step out of old patterns, understand themselves with less judgement, communicate authentically, cultivate deeper connections, and take aligned action towards their unique path of purpose.
Whether you're in a tough moment or just starting to get curious about yourself, this work meets you right where you are.
-
Absolutely—people come to develop their self awareness for all sorts of reasons.
Some feel stuck or are moving through something painful. Others are guided by a quiet curiosity — a desire for freedom or deeper truth.
This is about becoming more aware of the thoughts, beliefs, and patterns that shape your experience — and letting go of everything that gets in the way of taking aligned action.
We’re building your capacity to stay connected as life changes — to soften control, return to what’s steady within you, and show up with more clarity, resilience, and authenticity.
Parent/Carer/Loved One Support
-
Yes — I know how hard it can be to watch someone you love struggle, especially when they don’t seem to want help. You might feel powerless, confused, or unsure how to support them — afraid of making things worse. This space is here for you — to be met with compassion, to better understand what might be driving certain behaviours, and to feel more steady within yourself.
Our work focuses on supporting your emotional regulation, communication, and overall wellbeing, expanding your capacity to meet challenges with greater clarity, connection and presence — no matter where your loved one is at.
-
Yes — if your loved one is open and willing to engage in the process.
I don’t take a directive or forceful approach, so it’s important that they’re choosing this support from a place of sincere willingness, even if some uncertainty or resistance is present.
I invite you to book a Clarity Call to share any concerns, ask questions, and explore how I might support you — and potentially your loved one — from where you are now.

I don’t offer one-off sessions as a standalone option. This work is most effective when there’s space for continuity, reflection, and integration—something that unfolds over time rather than in a single session. That said, the Monthly Anchor package offers a spacious and flexible entry point, with one session per month and practical resources to support you in between sessions.
There’s no long-term commitment—you’re free to opt out or change your package. And if you’re unsure what level of support is right for you, you’re always welcome to book a free Clarity Call to explore what feels most aligned. -
At this stage, Eating Disorder Recovery & Self Awareness Coaching isn’t eligible for rebates through Medicare, Mental Health Care Plans, or private health insurance.
I truly hope this changes in the future as the value of this kind of support becomes more widely recognised. In the meantime, I’m committed to making this work as accessible, impactful, and supportive as possible.
